New art in the Corridor

"Nathalie Otter is a young Amsterdam based illustrator. Having studied both Illustration and Multimedia Design, she is a true jack of all trades. However, she has specialized in illustration and is currently working freelance. Working mainly for magazines, newspapers and clothing brands, she's also available for commissions. Her work is mostly known for it's sharp linework, great ideas and slightly strange sense of humor. Early 2010 she started her own t-shirt/clothing label called BEASTEES.

Timber!

A new exhibition in marked contrast to Donders’ work will open on April 2, after the Easter weekend. The show, by a number of different artists all using wood as a theme, will run in the Central Hall and H-tower and on the Zuidplein until June 21.

WTC is proud of Stadsdeel Zuid and Dienst Zuidas for achieving the price for ‘Beste Amsterdamse Werklocatie’. The working area of the local government is judged on quality of management. The other nominees were New Rieker Business Park in Nieuw West and the area of Westpoort Haven under management of Haven Amsterdam. We congratulate them with this great accomplishment.

Green Energy

Since November 2010, two wind turbines have been turning on the roof of tower H, producing around 5000 kWh of green energy each year. Their yield will be compared to that of solar panels that will be in use throughout the test period 2010 - 2012 elsewhere on the Zuidas. Since June this year, WTC Amsterdam has been running its own test with the generation of energy with solar panels on the roof of A tower.
