Please note: this clinic is for experienced cyclists. Cycling bike and supplies are not offered. You must bring your own bicycle and supplies.
Program:
Start – 5.15 pm: Make sure you are dressed and ready with your bicycle outside the WTC Amsterdam Zuidplein entrance at 5.15 pm. Thomas is waiting for you there.
Cycling – 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM: You will cycle a lap of approximately 40 km and end back at WTC Amsterdam around 7:00 PM
With Thomas as your personal cycling coach, you ride with a Dutch ex-professional who was part of the peloton for twelve years, mainly riding for the famous teams Rabobank and Team Garmin. Considered one of the greatest talents in cycling, he achieved impressive victories such as the Tirreno-Adriatico, the Tour de Romandie and was twice national champion in the individual time trial. After his career, Thomas has proven himself as a man with many interests. He lived in the United States for several years and has traveled the world enjoying and discovering modern art. Only a few years ago Thomas returned to his favorite city Amsterdam. In the meantime, he wrote an infamous book about his career, with revealing insights into his personal life and the challenges he faced. A second book will be published soon. Thomas is also a much-loved guest on Dutch television to analyze professional cycling and talk about his life in the professional peloton. After rediscovering his love for cycling, Thomas is once again taking part in great adventures and traveling the world, as he did in his professional days, with a particular focus this time on gravel riding. Together with his old teammate Laurens ten Dam and his friends from Live Slow Ride Fast, Thomas took part in Unbound, the Migration Ride in Kenya and will soon take part in a new race in Colombia. In between these adventures, Thomas is here to be your personal coach. It goes without saying that you can look forward to an inspiring and knowledgeable ride with an intriguing ex-pro.
