Arjan Erkel

How do you create a mindset that allows you to survive a hosting situation of almost 2 years? Arjan Erkel, former director of ‘Doctors Without Borders’, was hero hostage for 607 days by masked rebels in Dagestan, Russia. A nightmare from which he didn’t know if he would come out alive. During these 607 days he learned to deal with this new situation and he now wants to share the lessons he learned from this horrific experience. During this theater performance he teaches us how we can remain flexible and continue to grow under the most difficult circumstances imaginable in a time of change and uncertainty.
