Karin van de Walle is a ceramic artist who has developed her own visual language with her unique working method. She combines eclectic elements and constantly pushes the boundaries of what is possible.

Karin mainly draws her inspiration from artists who have ventured outside the usual art movements. Her sculptures, composed of materials such as ceramics, porcelain, cast marble and sometimes bronze, reflect her idiosyncratic style and limitless creativity. They radiate extravagance, humor and a sense of constant movement. Karin always works from themes, which regularly return in the form of AnimalGirls, SpaceAngels, ShowGirls, TraditionalGirls and RecycleGirls.

Hetty van der Linden is the founder of Paint a Future, with which she paints with children in disadvantaged situations all over the world. She encourages children to paint their dreams, imagining the paintbrush as a magic wand that they can use to bring their dreams to life.

Renowned artists from all over the world are inspired by these children’s drawings and incorporate them into their own paintings. The resulting works of art are sold, and the proceeds make these children’s dreams come true.
