Marc Lammers was the national coach of the Dutch women’s hockey team. He led the team that won the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the gold medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. After the Olympic Games in Beijing, Lammers stopped as national coach. As a player he played five international matches for the Dutch men’s hockey team. Lammers played for 16 years in the Dutch big league, with the clubs Oranje Zwart and Hockey Club ’s-Hertogenbosch.
