WTC Amsterdam | Welcome To Change

Same address, upgraded experience.

World Trade Center Amsterdam is going through a major transformation and we want you to be part of the journey. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about what’s changing, what to expect, and how we’re working to make your daily experience as smooth as possible while we build something great together. Read more about the renovation of the shared spaces and the parking garage renovation below.

Renovation of the Shared Spaces

We’re rethinking what a workspace can be. More open, more welcoming.

Our new entrance was officially opened during the 40hrs Festival in November. Now, we’ve moved on to the next big chapter: the Central Lobby. Right now, it’s completely stripped back, but it’s all for the better. The facade between the entrance and the lobby has now been opened, creating one bright, seamless, welcoming space. Curious about the end result? Watch the video to see what’s coming.

What’s happening - Latest updates

Week 11–12 — At the regular entrance near Tower 5, work to raise the structural opening has progressed well. Concrete will be poured this week, with work expected to continue through the end of week 15. After that, tiling works will follow. We expect the entrance to be fully accessible again in its usual way by week 16.

Week 12 - Big milestone ahead: the tent in the Central Lobby will be removed at the end of next week. After that, we move into a new phase for the north side of the lobby. A dust screen will be put in place, and there’s been a lot of work on the staircases in this area over the past weeks. We’re still aligning with building management on the exact next steps - more details for residents will follow soon.

Parking Garage Renovation

Change is happening below ground too. We’re carrying out a full renovation of the parking garage beneath Towers 3 through 8, from sprinkler systems and lighting to ventilation and floor coating. The result: a cleaner, brighter, and more modern garage.

What’s happening — Latest updates

Week 8-9 - Works in the parking garage are progressing steadily. On level P2, the sprinkler system has been replaced, lighting has been renewed, and redundant pipes and air ducts have been removed. The ventilation system has been modernised and we are currently applying the new floor coating.

In many areas we are reducing the number of parking spaces from three to two between the columns. As cars have become wider over the years, this adjustment improves comfort and accessibility.

Week 10 and onwards
Since mid-February, phase 3 has started on level P1. This phase will take approximately 10 weeks. During this period, the section of the garage between Tower Ten and the Zuidplein entrance will not be available.

Once completed, phase 4 will follow, covering the remaining part of P1 for another 10 weeks. The rest of the garage remains fully accessible throughout the renovation. There is sufficient parking capacity and charging availability on level P2.

Work at the garage entrance is also continuing. The new ceiling with updated lighting above the barriers has been installed. In the coming weeks, we will begin placing planters and greenery around the entrance ramp, offering a first glimpse of the refreshed look of the garage.

When will it be finished? We expect the full renovation to be completed by the end of July. The end result: a fresh, modern garage that matches the new WTC Amsterdam.
