We sleep out to raise funds and awareness, not to simulate homelessness. The focus is on reflection and connection, so there is no music or entertainment.

A Sheltersuit and a camp bed, dinner and breakfast. Water, coffee and tea are available all night.
Weather
Sheltersuits are made for cold and wet conditions. If the weather becomes too severe to sleep outside, we move to a sheltered space inside World Trade Center Amsterdam.
Safety
The sleeping area on Zuidplein is fenced off and supervised all night. Certified security guards (D&B Security), First aiders and supervisors from Sheltersuit and HVO-Querido are there throughout. You can leave valuables with building security and collect them at any time.
Where the money goes
All proceeds go directly to Sheltersuit. The money pays to produce and distribute new Sheltersuits for people without shelter in Amsterdam.
